Get ready to embrace the simple joys of life as you join Sam and John in this cosy and peaceful spinoff. After I've done one quest, I have no idea what the next quest could be because there is no goal, the game just kind of drags on, nothing to expect going forward. If the game events don't hook the player then it will be difficult to complete the game. Navigating through caves and figuring out annoying puzzles should be the boring or frustrating part but somehow its more interesting than events in the game. Was this supposed to be a sitcom with a small story shoehorned in or something? Due to the overabundance of unnecessary events, I got lost in what the story was meant to actually be. Not enough 'informative' conversations, just dumb, forgettable ♥♥♥♥. I have never played a game that suffered from this issue so badly. There are too many characters and too little to say. Too many redundant events and extraneous dialogue that disrupt the progress of the story. However, the sequencing of this game completely squanders its potential. The artstyle is gorgeous and was the main reason the game was hyped. But I unfortunately couldn't 😟 For me, the whole point of playing a video game is to get entertainment out of it, usually through visuals, gameplay and/or story. Should be interesting seeing just how varied they all ended up being.I so badly wanted to love this game. The only hint that I'm giving for it is that it's six different yet similar versions of the same game.
